The Sandringham Federation (Sandringham & West Newton CE Primary Academy and Flitcham Primary Academy) follows the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT) Admissions Policy for all applications. As part of DNEAT, our admissions arrangements are fair, transparent and fully compliant with the School Admissions Code 2021.
We welcome children from all backgrounds, faiths and abilities, and we are proud to be inclusive, nurturing schools at the heart of our village communities. All applications for Reception places, transfers, and in‑year admissions are managed through the Norfolk County Council coordinated admissions process.
Families can find full details of the Trust’s policy, including oversubscription criteria, on the DNEAT website and through the Local Authority admissions pages.
We believe that visiting a school is the best way to understand its ethos, environment and community. School tour dates for September 2026 will be confirmed at the start of the autumn term, and we warmly encourage prospective families to come and meet our staff, see our classrooms in action, and ask any questions about life at Sandringham & West Newton or Flitcham.
Once dates are published, tours can be booked through the school office.
Applications for Reception places, junior transfer, secondary transfer and in‑year admissions must be made through Norfolk County Council:
